OUR PROJECT

About us

We are The James Oglethorpe Primary School situated in Upminster, Essex. Our school motto is "From tiny acorns to mighty oaks". We are committed to being an outstanding example of a community, which is self evaluating, forward thinking and values all who make a contribution to its life and work.

What do we want?

We would like to a class set of 10 iPads for the children, we currently have a class set of 10 iPads, but wish to expand this to a class set for both the Infants and Juniors. The iPads will be used for ICT lessons and will make a big difference to our school, an entire year group could hopefully be working on the same lesson.

Who is this for?

This will be for our whole school, from Reception all the way through to Year 6. They will be used across a range of subjects and during our lunchtime club

Why do we want it?

A full class set of iPads, for both the Infants and Juniors, will allow children easier access to the wider curriculum. This will enable our pupils to use up-to-date technology and allow for more independent learning opportunities.
