What do you want?
We want to buy Technology equipment to use in our newly developed STEM hub.
Who is this for?
This is to be used across the whole school helping staff to deliver STEM lessons to their classes. The resources will also be used for extra-curricular STEM clubs.
Why do you want it?
The new equipment will enable the pupils to develop their skills in technology:
- to design, build and construct projects using a variety of materials
- to learn coding to create websites and games
- to problem solve
This will all assist the pupils in developing skills which could lead to a career in STEM.
All our activities are designed to give pupils a STEM experience which challenges them to imagine, design, build and test solutions to real world problems. Through applying their skills and knowledge to create these solutions, we aim to give young people an insight into the exciting and valued career choices open to them with continued study of the STEM subjects through their school years and beyond.
