We are a one form entry primary school based in Goffs Oak in Herfordshire. We currently have a mornings only nursery class and an oversubscribed Reception class in our Early Years. In April we will be opening our Nursery for the afternoons, and offering a lunch club, for two days a week. In September we will be opening the Nursery full time.

What do you want?

We would like to purchase two iPad minis, with protective cases, which can be used by the Nursery children and their staff.

Who is this for?

This is for our Nursery class and their staff. In the Summer term they will also be used by Reception.

Why do you want it?

We would really like iPads for our children to enhance their learning experience as they only have the interactive whiteboard to use in class at the moment. Our children are the youngest in the school but are already digitally literate when they start with us. With today's technology generally being touch screen, our children find it difficult to use a mouse and keyboard on a laptop and can't show us their full ability. However, if we had some iPads for the children to access in all areas of their learning we would be able to support and extend the children further. There are many educational apps for the children to access which covers all areas of learning, including phonics, literacy, maths, programming, digital art and especially learning how to use the internet safely.

  • 2 x Apple iPad Mini 4 = £786.00
  • 2 x Robust Case =  £79.20

Sub total = £865.20

Credit card fees (2%) = £17.30

Total = £882.50
