OUR PROJECT

About us

We are a small school in Benfleet, Essex. Last year, we had some fundraising events to develop our outdoor learning environment and would now like to purchase technology to use outdoors.

What do we want?

We would like to purchase various types of camera to develop our understanding of the outdoor environment and also enable us to use a variety of equipment. Cameras include digital cameras and time lapse cameras.

Who is this for?

Our whole school would benefit from this technology in all classes. The focus subjects are Outdoor Learning and Computing, but the technology could be used in a variety of subjects and in our Early Years provision.

Why do we want it?

We believe that outdoor learning is an essential part of children's holistic development. Learning in nature provides children with so many experiences, including risk taking and problem solving. We would like to extend our Computing provision to enable us to provide technology which can be used safely in the outdoor area.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES

STRETCH TARGET

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy sports cameras to use outside (go pro).
