What do we want?

We want Learning by Questions (LbQ) because independent studies by the Institute for Effective Education have proven that if it is used for just 10 minutes a day, it could supercharge the children's learning to the extent that they are a term ahead of the academic year.

Instead of waiting for work to be marked, children receive immediate feedback to their answers so they are learning all the time and misconceptions do not become embedded. This happens in privacy during lessons, so the children are not embarrassed to have another go and improve and build confidence. Simultaneously, the teacher can see exactly how everyone is getting on and go where they are most needed or re-visit a topic or idea that needs more attention.

Since all this is automatically marked, teachers can use that time to effectively plan engaging future lessons for your children.

For more info, visit the Learning by Questions website here.
