Lower Halstow Primary is a friendly village school with around 150 pupils. Owing to our small number of pupils we don't have excess funding to spend on anything beyond the basics. Our PFA work hard to raise money to support the school and fund projects that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
What do we want?
We are seeking funding to replace the Overhead Projector (using acetates) that projects onto a brick wall in the school hall, with a projector which links to a laptop that can access the internet and projects onto a screen. This will enable the children to access singing websites, watch video clips, improve the back drops for performances and talent shows and make learning come to life.
Who is this for?
This is for our whole school to use in assemblies, PE lessons and other whole activities.
Why do we want it?
Children currently cannot access the internet in the hall, reading the acetates reflected on the wall is difficult and we feel that a projector will bring assemblies and learning to life. We would like our children to have access to facilities similar to those in other schools.
