OUR PROJECT

Our school

[Teacher to complete]

Where is your school based? Tell us a bit about you & your students.

What do we want?

We want to offer our children the opportunity to learn through now>press>play. It is an immersive audio resource that extends children's life experiences, inspires creative writing, and produces outstanding engagement in children of all abilities. It can be used as a whole class activity or with smaller groups for intervention work and is a fun and inclusive way to engage children in the curriculum.

In a now>press>play Experience every child is given a pair of wireless headphones. Immersed in sound, they become the main character in a story, meeting people, discovering places and solving problems on an educational adventure they’ll never forget.

We can also connect the transmitter to an iPad, laptop or whiteboard so our classes can listen to a wide variety of audio books, sound stimulus, nursery rhymes, music, guided mediation and many more. To encourage writing for a purpose we can record the children reading a story they have written and play back through the headphones. Or record an audio guide to the art work around the school and invite parents for a museum style tour!

For more information, visit the now>press>play website here.
